Our eleven-day lodge package Itinerary begins with international arrival in Paro and a hike to the famed Tiger’s Nest on Day 1. Day 2 features a tour of the Punakha Dzong at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers. Day 3 includes private helicopter transport from Punakha to MRL in advance of a week of angling in Royal Manas National Park. After arrival at Manas River Lodge that evening, guests will enjoy six days of angling which are spent rafting, fishing and walk-and-wading with optional raft-assisted overnight camping on white sand beaches. Helicopter transport will return our guests to Thimphu on Day 10 which is spent exploring the markets and hot spots of the kingdom's capitol in preparation for the following morning’s departure to your international destination. The fully outfitted package includes: visas, Sustainable Development Fees (SDF), fishing permits, ground transport, cultural and fishing guides, all meals, beverages, lodgings and logistical support. Not included are personal expenses or recommended 15-20% guide/staff gratuities.
